Pity vs. love





If they can't be happy in your happiness but express concern in your pain, its nothing but pity.




If they're sadder when you're sad and happier if you're happy, THAT is love.

    These two are not to be compared, actually. Pity is degradation. Love is admiration and respect. Even the thought of its comparison to pity is an insult.
